Hevance Indie Iban Band |
Hevance’s music style could be best described as freestyle/fashionable rock, citing music influences for his or her mini album by bands like Peterpan, Coldplay, Evenstarr, and Flop Poppy. Presently, with the help of freelance songwriter, Frank Meruan Sayau (FMS) and Mac from the band Ethnic Transmissions, the band is bringing a few of their previous compositions and new materials for his or her first mini album scheduled for the mid of 2009. This low price mini album is budgeted around lower than 4k. Semampai Ngenang might be their first Iban tune written by FMS using the elements of pop music.
The principle purpose of the band is to generate a music revolution as what has been performed by Iban’s first pop alternative band, Ethnic Transmissions (ET). This will help construct a new path in the Iban/Sarawakian music industry which is being dominated by joget/dangdut music scene. Hevance band is under the auspices of the famous Fish Farm Records for underground bands showcase.
Due to their want to make one thing completely different in iban music trade, Hevance bounce back with their 2nd Single entitled referred to as 'Aku Nemu'. This track gives enormous impression among music lovers who believes that Iban music industries may evolved to another step. 'Aku Nemu' was aired on numerous native radio station and was the first Iban music that aired on peninsula primarily based radio station, Era.fm. Most of the band’s song are written and composed by Aldrich.
